Where does water come from?

EARTH and the WATER CYCLE

The Water Cycle is an amazing thing! And the Water Molecule as GOD made it is an awesome cleaner and healer. Unfortunately today our water is subject to runoff of pesticides, fertilizers, weed killers, gas and oil spill runoff, home use chemicals similar to agriculture, antibiotics and other Rx med’s flushed into our systems and much more! In fact, 60% of the currently known and newest contaminants are not regulated by the establishment of safe levels of these elements in our water. This is why many are pressing for a newer water safety action!

WATER QUALITY STANDARDS

In 1992 the Federal Government set a Water Quality Standard for the Maximum Allowable Total Dissolved Solids considered safe for consumption in our drinking water of 250 ppm. It was believed to be too costly to implement by municipal water systems and the Government raised that minimum to 500 ppm!! Take away? Ultimately, it’s up to each individual to take charge of their own water quality! The question is, are the government’s standards high enough for you? Plus, there is the path the water must travel from the Treatment facilities locally to your home. Old, rusty and leaking water lines, water line construction, other infiltration sources such as bad pipes in your own home all change the quality of the water before reaching your home.

QUICK FACTS

Did you know that the Government Grades Water just as it does, Food Stuffs and other commodities! It grades water by the level of Dissolved Solids contained in it. T.D.S. = Total Dissolved Solids. A TDS Rating of: 1-50 ppm = FOOD GRADE; 51-500 = WORKING GRADE WATER (Laundry, Shower, Cooking); 500+ = UTILITY GRADE WATER (Ground Water/Well Water) not for consumption w/o treatment.

Total Dissolved Solids create a Mineral “Buffer”. The Water Molecule has a Magnetic quality and it is very good at attracting and holding all types of substances. It operates as a carrier in your body and it is very good at carrying away contaminates through your “Body Filters”, the Liver and Kidneys through your bladder and out as Urine! Biles, Wastes, etc., are encapsulated by the Water Molecule. Absorbed like an empty sponge if you will, so it can carry these wastes away.! There must be a certain healthy level of T.D.S. For it to do its job! (Mineral Buffer). DISTILLED WATER has ZERO T.D.S. Which means it is an empty sponge and is going to strip your body chemistry of vital minerals and beneficial nutrients as well as the wastes, etc.. not good!! This is why we do not consume Distilled Water! It can be bad for your health to do so!

Municipal Water Treatment System

A municipal water treatment facility serves the cities and towns in its locality and governance and is managed by an elected official. Usually called a Water Board. A private water treatment system may treat a single household or a small group of homes outside the local jurisdiction and source would be a well and groundwater. No matter the water treatment system, the water quality standards of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) must be followed for a water supply that serves more than 25 people.
Chemicals and physical processes are used to filter and disinfect harmful microorganisms. While water treatment systems filter out many different impurities, they don’t necessarily filter out impurities that cause water problems such as bitter taste, foul odor, or mineral deposits. They are further allowed to use upwards of 400 groups of chemicals to treat and make safe the water per Federal Guidelines.

Private Wells

However, Private wells that serve a single owner in rural areas is not treated and is typically in need of treatment at the point of capture by the same owner to ensure usability for different purposes as on a Farm and or residence.

Delivery Systems

There are 3 main types of water delivery systems: well water, pipes and bottled water. Only 2 deliver drinkable water from the source to your home. As we have already discussed, Well Water requires treatment first.

Through Pipes to Your Faucet

Tap water travels from a public municipal water treatment system or private well to your faucet. A series of pipes transport the water to your home plumbing. If you receive your water from a public municipal water treatment system, the water usually arrives in your household by water main line from the distribution system and then goes through a metering device and into a home by 3/4” to 1” pipe. The pipes carrying water into your homes could be PVC(Plastic) or galvanized, and copper and brass are usually involved as well. Modern homes are constructed with a high-pressure capacity hi-tech pipe called PEX type which is an ideal transport as it is flexible, hi pressure capable and can handle hot or cold temperature extremes! But, has a useful life of 40-50 years. All of these various types of water transport pipes have their positive and negative attributes, particularly when exposed to varying levels of hardness, chemicals and other water-borne elements over the years.

Bottled Water

Many bottled water brands are sourced from a municipal water system or a natural spring. Some are conditioned and come with lower levels of T.D.S. Others even receive Reverse Osmosis Filtration for the highest quality possible. Some come from natural sources and require little or no treatment. Bottled water may undergo additional purification, as it is regulated under the guidelines of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (USFDA). But, bottled water is not necessarily regulated unless it’s bottled with the intention of its sale across state lines.

BOTTOM LINE

Water is LIFE!! And the Water Molecule is a miraculous creation!
THE WATER MOLECULE, as GOD, Made it is a great Medicine & Cleaner of your body!! Our body is a biological system or machine that requires lubrication, cleansing, flushing, and restoration. The quality of the water we ingest by drinking, eating and bathing matters!

The water molecule is very simple. A molecule is a piece of matter that contains two or more atoms. … It is called H2O because it has two atoms of hydrogen (H) and one atom of oxygen (O). There are millions of these molecules in one drop of water!!

The average adult body is comprised of up to 50-65% water. Infants are 78-78% water untl one year and then drop to 60-65%. The composition of our bodies varies from one person to the next, but there is no argument that we are made, primarily, of WATER. H2O!

Percentage of water in our bodies

According to H.H. Mitchell, Journal of Biological Chemistry 158, the brain and heart are composed of 73% water, and the lungs are about 83% water. The skin contains 64% water, muscles and kidneys are 79%, and even the bones are watery: 31%. Jul 23, 2018,
